Job description

Placement Type:
N/A
Salary:
$55.37-61 Hourly
Join a world-renowned organization at the forefront of innovation, dedicated to shaping the future through impactful marketing strategies and fostering an inclusive environment.
We are looking for a highly adaptable Marketing Specialist II to step into the role of an Ad Campaigns Operations Leader within our client's Ad Campaigns Operations team. You will act as a centralized Program Manager overseeing a portfolio of high-impact digital marketing campaigns focused on ads products, incentives, and rewards programs. You will bridge the gap between Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and ground production teams (Data Specialists, Production/Email Builders, and Campaign Success Managers). The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fluid environment, has a healthy "tech hunger," and is passionate about driving process optimization using modern tools and AI.
  • Location: Mountain View, CA
  • Hybrid work: Tues, Wed, Thurs in the office. Monday & Friday remote
  • Work Schedule: Normal PST business hours, Monday - Friday
  • Duration: through 2/23/2027

Key Responsibilities
  • Campaign Program Management: End-to-end management of multiple distinct marketing campaign "universes" simultaneously. Track project timelines, manage deliverables, and ensure flawless campaign execution using internal tracking tools and standard frameworks.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Product Marketing Managers (PMMs). Confidently negotiate timelines and asset handoffs, ensuring campaign briefs meet the minimum criteria (at least 60% completion) before kicking off operations.
  • Pod Leadership & Expectation Setting: Lead and set explicit operational expectations for your dedicated campaign pods, which include:
    • Data Specialists: Writing scripts and pulling audiences.
    • Production Team: Building emails, managing content blocks, and overseeing localization/translations.
    • Campaign Success Managers (CSMs): Overseeing and "program managing the program managers" to ensure no details are missed.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously look for opportunities to streamline operations (e.g., turning a 5-step process into a 2-step process) and maximize efficiency rather than just maintaining the status quo.
  • AI Integration: Actively leverage AI tools (such as Gemini/anti-gravity equivalents) to increase daily productivity, from auditing automated workflows to cross-referencing scripts and reviewing campaign data.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 3 + experience in Digital Marketing Operations, CRM Operations, or Technical Program Management.
  • Proven CRM Back-End Knowledge: Strong understanding of email marketing architecture, campaign building blocks, behavioral personalization variables (e.g., dynamic fields), data segmentation, and targeting.
  • Project Management Tool Proficiency: Experience tracking complex workflows using collaborative software such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Jira, or spreadsheets.
  • High Tolerance for Ambiguity: A proactive "firefighter" mindset with the capacity to pivot quickly when priorities shift and a high resilience against operational friction.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications:
  • Background in Tech or Media: Direct experience navigating the fast-paced matrix environment of a major technology or digital media organization.
  • Basic SQL Familiarity: Ability to read/interpret basic SQL queries and reference the correct data tables (you won't need to write or debug scripts from scratch, but you should know what a script is executing).
  • Incentives & Rewards Experience: Prior exposure to referral programs, user incentives, or promotional loyalty campaigns.
  • AI Literacy: Active enthusiasm for integrating AI prompting into daily administrative and workflow tasks to scale output.
