Role Summary
The Sr Manager, Product Sourcing leads sourcing strategy and execution for key mechanical and infrastructure commodities supporting hyperscale data center and AI platforms. This role manages a team of Product Sourcing Managers responsible for Mechanical Racks, Chassis, Power, Thermal, and Liquid Cooling, with accountability for cost, supply continuity, supplier capacity, and execution across global programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, cost, and supplier strategy for mechanical rack, chassis, power, thermal, and liquid cooling commodities supporting hyperscale and AI infrastructure programs.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of 6-8 Product Sourcing Managers, providing clear priorities, coaching, and performance accountability.
  • Own supplier strategy, capacity planning, and cost governance to support rapid demand growth, NPI ramps, and volume fluctuations driven by hyperscale and AI workloads.
  • Drive supplier selection, negotiations, and commercial terms, including pricing, lead time, NCNR, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage geo-economic and supply chain risks including tariffs, trade compliance considerations, and supply localization strategies.
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and trade compliance to ensure aligned execution from design through production.
  • Establish sourcing governance, KPIs, and operating cadence to improve execution discipline, supplier performance, and scalability.
  • Support executive reviews with clear communication on cost, supply risk, capacity outlook, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or commodity management, preferably in data center, server, rack, or infrastructure hardware.
  • Proven people leadership experience managing sourcing or commodity teams.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, power, and thermal supply bases, including rack systems, chassis, PSUs, and liquid cooling ecosystems.
  • Experience operating in high-growth, constrained supply environments with large-scale spend responsibility.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without authority in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Hyperscale data center, AI infrastructure, or ODM/EMS ecosystem experience.
  • Exposure to tariff mitigation, supply localization, and global supplier diversification strategies.
  • Experience supporting NPI, rapid ramps, and multi-region manufacturing models.

Annual Salary Range
$190,000-$210,000 USD DOE
