Job description

Eaton's PCS division is currently seeking a Program Manager- Materials BUL to join the team. This is a hybrid role, with approximately 25% travel and can be based in one of the following locations: El Paso, TX; Ellisville, MO; Menomonee Falls, WI; Peachtree City, GA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Raleigh, NC.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you'll do:
This position will plan, direct, and execute capital projects related to footprint rationalizations, capacity expansions, manufacturing methods/processes, and facilities using comprehensive knowledge of existing capabilities and new technology. You'll lead actions associated with supply chain and systems applications for capacity expansion projects. You will work with suppliers and purchasing to ensure robust part supply to achieve projected sales growth. This role will lead SAP and Enovia data set-up for new operations or site expansions and be responsible for achieving defined project metrics such as schedule, budget, and benefits. The Program Manager will ensure close collaboration with the local operations teams to assure project success and examine the needs of the business to develop project scenarios and build the business case.
Essential Functions:
  • Leadership: Provide project leadership for both large- and small-scale projects. Execute large and complex projects for PSD (experienced in PROLaunch STP and NPI execution). Able to assemble and lead a cross functional team with engagement from all required organizations. Leverage cross functional and global resources to develop and implement the best solutions.

  • Project Management: Manage and maintain program /project metrics throughout the duration of projects. Needs to effectively lead meetings and documentation for project teams and conduct project update meetings to agreed upon schedules. Manage capital and expense spending withing approved budget amounts. Provide monthly spending projection updates and able to hit forecasted targets.

  • Supplier Strategy: Lead and define SCM requirements for strategic product line transfers. Evaluate and implement alternate material suppliers in support of supply base localization and resiliency. Engage appropriate resources to establish/revise supplier contracts, pricing, terms and conditions, etc.

  • Systems Implementation: Manage system and applications selection and implementation such as SAP and ITS. Manage system data migration working closely with assigned IT Scrum Master.

  • Strategic Planning: Build organizational competency - Manages direct reports and trains key individuals in the organization. Assist in the development of various project scenarios for comparison and evaluation which could include footprint expansion and facility consolidations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain based roles
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the following locations: El Paso, TX; Ellisville, MO; Menomonee Falls, WI; Peachtree City, GA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Raleigh, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
