What does a Associate Content Producer do at WPP Production?
The Associate Content Producer oversees the creation of all screen and hardware visuals utilized in the client's marketing materials. This role entails orchestrating the workflow for producing images, videos, or interactive initiatives, collaborating closely with Creative and Production teams to ensure timely completion of both new and ongoing projects. Moreover, this associate producer is tasked with nurturing relationships with vendors and various groups within the client organization that depend on these images. They are also responsible for coordinating production timelines for visual components and delivering finished screens to relevant business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking of image production.
  • Monitor and update the status of imagery in Producer projects regularly.
  • Ensure project deliverables for screens and hardware are managed with localization considerations.
  • Responsible for identifying risks and establishing formal escalation paths.
  • Identify and resolve issues, promoting process enhancements.
  • Gather, verify, and share essential project details with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Producers and Production teams to create and refine tools and systems for more efficient workflows.
  • Coordinate with creative and development teams to document global content needs including the creation of detailed content matrices, software, hardware and lifestyle assets on low complexity projects.
  • Partner with Brand teams to develop a clear and thorough understanding of software features and their availability across regions.
  • Support senior content producers on regional localization variances and across various platforms, by providing guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Organize and conduct meetings before and after production with the Image Production team.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and continuously improve production processes for greater efficiency.
  • Prepare briefing materials for existing workflows and work on developing and introducing new methods for information sharing.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within an advertising agency or production house with exposure to global brands and across various channels including print, video, and interactive media.
  • Quick and detailed information organization skills.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes and eager to learn new skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills across different levels, from individual interactions to large group communications.
  • Diplomatic management capabilities.
  • A strong appreciation for the creative and production processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and production teams.
  • Experience in preparing and managing deliverables for localization.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, multi-tasking abilities, and a remarkable memory.
