SOC Language Solutions is a language services provider.

We provide onsite interpretation, over-the-phone interpretation, and translation services to large corporate enterprises as well as the public sector. We specialize in the medical and legal industries.

SOC Language Solutions is an Interpretation Service Provider of the International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) and a corporate member of the American Translators Association (ATA), the Association of Language Companies (ALC), the Medical Interpreter Network of Georgia (MING), and the National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare (NCIHC).

Job Description
Operations

       Oversee interpretation services

       Manage day-to-day operations of the Interpretation Services Department

       Coordinate, monitor and review all interpreting assignments as well as dispatch assignments

       Troubleshoot system with users and interpreters as needed

       Manage and maintain the quality of data in the workflow/interpretation management system by ensuring that all operational, production, and financial data is accurate and up-to-date

       Maintain professional and productive relations with both clients and linguists

       Review, update and verify quality control procedures as well as administers quality control checks and ensures the accuracy of information in the system 

       Track and monitor number of client complaints

       Quote new customer jobs using rates/margins

       Work with the management team on bids, responses to RFPs, and new contract implementation processes


Management reporting

       Responsible for tracking non-conformance reports.

       Responsible for tracking department operations metrics, such as fill-rate percentages and turnaround-to-fill cases per recruiter

       Review department's overall success by monitoring the number of projects, unable-to-fill projects, profit margins, languages and locations


Recruitment and training

       Recruit and seek out qualified interpreters via membership directories, and/or online submissions

       Interview and vet new interpreters

       Ensure interpreters have passed necessary testing requirements

       Train new suppliers as needed


Financial

       Manage accounts payable, invoices from and payments to payments to suppliers
Manage accounts receivables, invoices to and payments from clients

       Assist in any payroll issues, and be in tune with payroll processing deadlines & announcements

Manage and maintain the quality of data in the workflow/interpretation management system by ensuring that all operational, production, and financial data is accurate and up-to-date

Qualifications

Experience

       2-3 years in the localization industry, preferably in interpretation area

       At least 1 year in management or supervisory capacity
