Join Our Team!

Worldwide Equipment Sales (WWE), a division of Pritchard Companies, is seeking a dependable and professional CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Rockdale, Illinois. This is a primarily local driving position, focused on transporting commercial trucks, carriers, and specialty equipment within the Rockdale/Chicagoland area.

This role offers a consistent daily schedule with home daily in most cases, along with occasional overnight trips based on business needs. If you take pride in safe driving, hands-on work, and delivering excellent customer service, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, family-owned organization.


What You’ll Do
  • Operate CDL-required equipment to transport trucks and specialty units locally around Rockdale and surrounding areas.
  • Complete short-distance deliveries with a focus on safety, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
  • Load, secure, and deliver units using proper securement methods.
  • Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and DOT-required records.
  • Communicate with dispatch, sales teams, and customers regarding delivery updates.
  • Represent WWE professionally at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and care of assigned equipment.
  • Follow all DOT, state, and company transportation regulations.
  • Assist with yard and dealership operations as needed when not driving.

What We’re Looking For
  • Valid Class A CDL with an unrestricted license and acceptable driving record.
  • Prior CDL driving experience required; local experience preferred.
  • Experience hauling commercial vehicles or equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement practices.
  • Ability to safely use chains, straps, and tie-downs.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a primarily local schedule with occasional travel.
  • Must meet DOT medical requirements and pass pre-employment screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors.
