About the role

The CDL A Driver will transport hazardous and non hazardous liquid waste using bulk tanker equipment and will also support roll off operations as needed. This position hauls clean treated water, oily waste, industrial waste, wash water, and other bulk materials within a regional loop while remaining a home daily position


Responsibilities

  • Operate bulk tanker equipment to safely load, transport, and unload flammable liquids, corrosive materials, treated water, oily waste, and other industrial waste streams while following EPA and DOT regulations.
  • Prepare manifests and related transport documents accurately and obtain customer signatures when required.
  • Maintain accurate electronic driver logs and all required DOT documentation.
  • Perform daily pre trip and post trip inspections on truck, tanker, hoses, valves, fittings, brakes, tires, and safety equipment.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding route planning, pick up details, delivery timing, and customer site requirements.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, read maps, and navigate regional routes effectively.
  • Secure all hoses, equipment, and materials prior to transit to ensure safe and compliant transport.
  • Maintain a clean cab and organized equipment including hoses, fittings, and ancillary tools.
  • Complete all assigned tasks and support additional operational needs as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older for interstate commercial driving.
  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
  • Liquid bulk tanker experience required, with roll off experience being a nice to have.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating instructions, manifests, and safety procedures.
  • Must pass a DOT physical and meet FMCSA driver qualification standards.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work professionally and independently.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to handle hoses and equipment across uneven terrain.
  • Ability to work at heights and in enclosed spaces when required.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the year.

Pay Transparency

The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $55,704.00 - $76,646.00 . For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
