Resource Specialist (Washington 211) 


Help connect people to critical services across Washington State

As a Resource Specialist, you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role-keeping our statewide database of community resources accurate, accessible, and up to date so our teams can connect people to essential services like housing, food, healthcare, and more.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update a comprehensive database of health and human services resources
  • Write and edit clear, accurate service listings using standardized guidelines
  • Ensure data quality by reviewing taxonomy, formatting, and completeness
  • Collaborate with agencies across Washington to verify and update information
  • Identify opportunities to improve database structure, searchability, and processes
  • Partner with your team to support a high-quality, mission-driven service environment

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Experience working with databases and managing structured data
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (testing required)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written work
  • Clear and professional written communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced setting
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful collaboration

Role Details

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility required)
  • Location: Remote (but open to WA residents only)
  • Pay: $27.33 per hour
  • Status: Full-time, non-exempt (37.5 hours/week)
  • Union: Represented by OPEIU Local 8
  • Benefits: Full Stack View Benefits 
  • This is a grant- and contract-funded position with funding committed through April 2027. While future funding beyond that date cannot be guaranteed, renewal opportunities are anticipated and will be evaluated as contract funding decisions are made.
