  • Casual employment working as needed based on departmental needs.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • The Respiratory Therapist is the primary care giver and contact person for all patients and patient families receiving treatment, diagnostic testing, or education relative to respiratory illness.
  • The CRT or RRT will be responsible for day-to-day clinical operations and patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • (S)he places the patient at the center of care practices and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes and practices Joint Township District Memorial Hospital professional practice model principles.
Requirements
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school or equivalent to a certificate program as a Certified Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Valid license to practice respiratory therapy in the State of Ohio.
Experience
  • Clinical experience acquired during education process of the attended accredited learning facility.
