What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct guests in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document patrol observations, incidents, and irregularities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
