Job Summary:

This is a delivery position responsible for driving a tractor-trailer to deliver and unload various products for Sysco customers. This requires using excellent customer service skills and working under state and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sysco safety preferred work methods. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various early morning start times are required to successfully meet customers’ needs.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
  • License to drive - valid CDL-A, CDL-B, or CDL-C/Driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
  • Flexibility – overtime as required, occasional weekends, and holidays


Preferred Requirements:
  • 2 years of local food or beverage experience
  • Pallet breakdown and hand cart delivery experience
