Job description


We are very pleased to announce that Select Maintenance LLC, a sister company of Ragle Inc., is now looking for highly motivated, hardworking Traffic Control Laborers who are interested in working for a young company with great advancement opportunities. Our DFW Division is seeking team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented individuals who are looking for new learning experiences and have a desire to contribute to our clients' success.
Pay: $18.00-22.00/hr depending on experience
Location: Dallas, TX (location depends on project needs)
Hours: Nights, weekends, and days. Must be flexible to work any shift. Overtime available.Job Description:
  • Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with supervisor
  • Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern
  • Directs movement of traffic through site using signs, hand, and flag signals
  • Warns construction workers when approaching vehicles fail to heed signals to prevent accidents and injury
  • Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites
  • Records license numbers of traffic control violators for police
  • Gives hand marker to last driver in lineup of one-way traffic for Flagger at opposite end of site, signaling clearance for reverse flow of traffic
Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work day, night, or weekend shifts
  • Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Prior traffic control experience preferred, but not required
