Job description

QLM IS seeking Skilled Flaggers / General Laborers to support construction operations at the Samsung project in Taylor, Texas. The ideal candidate is experienced in construction-site safety, traffic control, and general labor activities and is committed to maintaining a safe, productive, and organized work environment.
Position Description

The Skilled Flagger / General Laborer will assist with traffic control and general construction-site operations. Responsibilities include directing traffic, maintaining safe work zones, setting up and removing traffic-control devices, assisting construction crews, moving materials, maintaining clean work areas, and performing other duties assigned by the site supervisor.

The successful candidate must prioritize safety, teamwork, reliability, and quality of work while supporting daily project operations.

Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a construction flagger, traffic control technician, or general laborer
  • Experience working on active construction sites
  • Knowledge of traffic-control procedures, signs, cones, barricades, and work-zone safety
  • Ability to communicate clearly with drivers, equipment operators, and crew members
  • Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and construction vehicles
  • Strong awareness of OSHA and job-site safety requirements
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with supervisors and crews
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks
  • OSHA, ATSSA, or flagger certification is preferred
  • Valid driver's license is a plus
