Our Opportunity

Are you a Class 1 Driver who is committed to safety and delivering exceptional customer service? If so, Tim Hortons Distribution may just be the place for you! As a certified Top Fleet Employer, we can confidently say you’ll be joining a team of dedicated, professional Drivers who have a passion for our iconic brand. 

This job entails a mix of City & Highway driving within British Columbia with some routes requiring up to a maximum of one night(s) (on most occasions) stay in a hotel.

This position will be based out of our Langley, BC Distribution Centre located at 5150 272 St, Langley City, BC V4W 1S3.


What we do:

Our drivers safely deliver dry and temperature-controlled products to Tim Hortons restaurants in British Columbia. We operate 7 days per week using a variety of trailer sizes to meet delivery demands and constraints.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Completing Tim Hortons restaurant deliveries while operating Company equipment in a safe and professional manner at all times
  • Providing outstanding customer service and support to restaurant employees
  • Performing Pre/Post- trip inspections
  • Completing all appropriate regulatory and Company documentation
  • Offloading products using a powered tailgate and powered driver walkie
  • Verifying order accuracy and assisting store employees with bringing the products into the restaurant
  • Handling inquiries and or concerns from owners/customers professionally
  • Ensuring food safety and food defense standards are followed
  • Responsible for general cleaning and yard duties as required

Required Skills:

  • Valid Class 1 License with two years of experience operating Class 1 equipment
  • Experience operating 18-speed manual transmission trucks
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract to be provided at the time of interview
  • Mountain and winter driving experience is preferred
  • Experience with operating lift truck / powered walkie, powered tailgate and B-Train, is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Both verbal and written)
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
  • Ability and willingness to work in marked temperature changes

Compensation:  

Starting hourly rate of $36.05 with progressive increases over 3 years to current top rate of $40.90 (not including applicable premium(s).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policy / program / plan, based on individual and company performance metrics.
