They are responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and pickup of products between locations and to customers. This role ensures that all shipments are handled with care, documentation is completed accurately, and company policies and safety standards are consistently followed. The Logistics Driver demonstrates strong knowledge of road safety regulations, safe handling practices, and efficient route planning to maintain smooth operations.This position requires availability to work early morning shifts (3:30 am - 11:30 am)Compensation: $25 per hour Responsibilities: Load and unload products safely and efficiently Verify delivery orders and shipping documents before departure Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner Ensure all deliveries are accurate and obtain required signatures when needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle Report any vehicle issues, traffic incidents, or delivery delays promptly Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage Maintain accurate delivery logs and records Follow all company policies, road safety regulations, and transportation laws Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing, staging, and inventory support when required Ensure delivery equipment (dollies, straps, pallet jacks) is properly maintained and available Valued skills and experience: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous delivery or logistics driving experience is an asset Experience with basic vehicle maintenance is an asset Strong time management and organizational skills Good communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
