Position: Class 1 Local Delivery Driver (Delta)

Schedule: 4 X 10 | Floater | 3:30am - 6:00am start time

Position Overview

The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Delta.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include correctly offloading products, recording delivery information, accepting payment for goods when required, and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects. The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules and regulations of the road, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract

  • Proven ability of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 80 lbs

  • Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self-directed

  • Professional demeanor under stressful situations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Availability for weekends and holidays
