Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing daily activities of Oil Stores personnel.

  • Responsible for maintaining UAWCAS reporting, Hourly timekeeping in Workday, and approval of Vacations.

  • Communicate with Engineering Team peers in various cross functional projects.

  • Work and communicatetohourly personnelandassure compliance to federal, state, local and Allisonrestrictionsand requirements.

  • Train and develop employees in areas concerning chemical processing, environmental and safety.

  • Plan and schedule chemical, safety and processing related meetings, programs, and projectsin accordance withAllison policies and procedures.

  • Complete work assignments within budget,manpowerand timing constraints.

  • Produce quality, financial, environmental and performance reports per the Allison system.

  • Implements and actively supports the plant and corporate safety policies and initiatives.

  • Physical presence in the workplace is an essential function.

  • Implements safety and good housekeeping standards.

  • Able to record and organize information in a readily retrievable format.

  • Capable of working and communicating with management and internal customers to relay information in form of reports, presentation, emails or verballyin regard toconstraints, schedules, closures, or anything that mayaffectproduction.

  • Problem solve and provideviablesolutions to meet internal customer demands.

Qualifications:

Required:Associate degreeand\or equivalent experiencein manufacturing,supervisionor industrial chemicals

Experience:

Required:

1+ yearssupervisory experience

Preferred:

1+ years working in industrial manufacturing

Understanding of basic chemistry

Knowledge of industrial chemicals and their interaction with metallurgy

Experience working with Excel and Power Point

Scope Factors

Confident and capable of handlingsmall amountsof chemicals

Compliance in adhering to all of Allison's Safety PPE. Safety-Toe shoes, Eye protection, hearing protection, chemical gloves.
