Job description

Bartender –  Halidom Eatery - Part Time

The Bartender will serve customers cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages from behind the bar at Halidom Eatery. Ideal candidates will have a craft passion for cocktails and spirits, are knowledgeable with cocktails and proper techniques, display a reliable and engaging attitude, and are a team player. 

Halidom Eatery is Atlanta’s most unique food hall, featuring 10 eclectic local food vendors, a private event space, the beautiful Bar La Rose, and the soon to come Pink Bird bar. The eatery features regular weekly specials and events open to all members of the community.

Compensation:

$8.50 - 8.50 USD per hour + tips


Essential Job Duties:

  • Perform all bartending functions; making drinks; stocking; opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure all drinks measured and poured to correct specifications
  • Take accountability for house and guests’ safety, ensuring no guest is over served
  • Protect house funds by ensuring all purchases are correctly accounted for in POS system
  • Maintain daily operations, including providing excellent customer service
  • Train and supervise staff
  • Assist Events Manager; host and execute special events

Non-Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide coverage for employees during breaks or period of high traffic including: bartending, bussing, serving, stocking, cleaning
  • Promote Halidom Eatery to increase customer traffic
  • Create new and interesting cocktail and mocktail recipes
  • Administrative tasks as assigned

Reports To:

The Bartender will report to management staff


Qualifications:

  • Experience bartending or as a mixologist in a high-volume bar and/or restaurant/food hall environment
  • Ability to operate and program POS system; computer savvy
  • TIPS certification or ability to obtain
  • People management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; conflict resolution skills
