Job Summary

The Lobby Ambassador program is responsible for responding to and delivering all aspects of lobby operations through a hospitality lens; offering continuous attentive service and creating an exceptional employee and guest arrival and departure experience within the Wells Fargo Administrative location at 30 Hudson Yards. You will be a collaborative partner who is confident and comfortable with our processes and tools. You will establish trust based relationships and will establish yourself as a key owner of the lobby team.

This is an internal client facing role that provides the opportunity to combine your passion for delivering a high level of service, with excellent people skills, and an enthusiasm for getting issues resolved quickly in order to enhance the on-site experience for employees and guests, all while strictly following appropriate risk and security protocols.

Lobby Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for greeting and engaging all Clients, Guests, Vendors, Employees and Associates entering the Wells Fargo Lobby at 30 Hudson Yards.
  • Display an energetic, friendly, and approachable demeanor at all times.
  • Greet and escort all high touch clients to their meeting destination on the managed floors. Job involves periodic walking and will require standing for long periods of time
  • Managing closely all activity in the internal visitor greeting process. Direct each guest through the appropriate check-in process.
  • Build trusting relationships with Security, Executive Detail, Executive Support, and Facility teams.
  • Act as first point of contact for all activities and emergencies in the lobby, remaining alert at all times. Serve as point person, taking ownership of any challenges that may arise within the Lobby operation, resolving them, or following escalation procedures as required.
  • Follow all responsible post orders to ensure only invited and registered guests gain entry to building.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Flexible and willing attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
  • Passionate about great customer service and ensuring employees / visitors have a positive experience when entering the building.
  • Ability to quickly establish positive and productive relationships with colleagues, building vendors, and the firms’ employees and guests.
  • Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Able to remain mobile and/or standing for extended periods during workday
  • Inquisitive mind-set that takes pleasure with investigating issues to get them resolved quickly.
  • Experience in a client service / reception position preferred.
