Job description

Loan Assistant

The Loan Assistant builds and maintains strong customer and employee relationships. Assists the Branch Manager and Loan Officers with origination, processing and servicing of loans in an accurate and professional manner. Will provide unmatched customer service and exhibit and uphold Cornerstone Bank culture, core values and mission. This is a full-time position with the full Cornerstone Bank employee benefit package.

Job Duties

Primary duties include the processing of loans for the branch. Input loan information and prepare loan reports. File collateral documents to perfect lien and process loan advances and line payments. May also have back up personal banker responsibilities

Qualifications

Equivalent to a high school education minimum. At least 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred. Must be accurate and detail oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of personal computers and the suite of Microsoft Office products. Ability to interact effectively with other bank personnel, management, co-workers and customers. Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
