Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Member Operations Liaison position in Columbus, Indiana. The Member Operations Liaison is responsible for administrative and reporting responsibilities for Member Operations. The Member Operations Liaison supports Member Operations leadership with coordination and administration of the day-to-day operations including supporting all lending operations throughout all of Centra's footprint. This position provides operational deposit and loan subject matter expertise on systems and processes for Member Operations. This position provides operational support to Deposit and Consumer Loan Operations team as needed and serves as a liaison for key business partners. This position is responsible for creating and optimizing the service of all Consumer and Indirect Loans. The Member Operations Liaison will manage and develop centralized servicing to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient processes maintaining portfolio integrity. This position will lead or represent Deposit or Consumer Loan Operations on assigned projects or tactics.

  • Collaborates, communicates, and partners with various Centra lines of business and external partners for subject matter expertise for assigned projects, alternatives for continuous improvements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of all applicable deposit and consumer lending laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to these requirements while completing all proper review and due diligence for audit/exam and compliance needs.
  • Serves as liaison and proactively seeks opportunities to improve operational and lending efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performs and oversees periodic quality and control reviews to ensure accuracy, adherence to policies and regulatory requirements, and effectiveness of internal controls; analyzes results and provides timely, recommendations and actionable updates to leadership on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Gathers monthly information and coordinates updating designated reports for monthly and quarterly reporting and quality reviews. Consults with Leadership on trends and changes to key risk metrics.
  • Provides subject matter expertise with software support, procedural and process questions. Assists with audits and supports system management across Member Operations.
  • Leads assigned operational and loan servicing tasks such as ordering services, BMV searches, CPI, GAP, etc.
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Consumer Title Specialist. Supervisory duties include performance management, training, and development, and demonstrating and cultivating Centra's Vision, Mission, Culture, and Core Values.
  • Serves as a key liaison at regular Retail meetings, proactively communicating operational and consumer lending needs, gathering feedback, and driving alignment to support strong Member outcomes.
  • Acts as Intranet Page Administrator to proactively communicate and enhance the functionality and efficiency of department pages.
  • Maintains complete and up to date vendor management records for assigned vendors.
  • Improves department operational efficiencies and service quality while ensuring and cultivating Centra's Vision, Mission, Culture, and Core Values to our Members, Team Members, and the communities we service.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):
  • Associate's Degree in Related Field
  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
