  • Supports other processes as needed and maintains high accuracy and customer confidentiality in all job functions.


Job description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the preparation, accuracy and completeness of new consumer, non-real estate commercial, and commercial real estate loans; including renewals and modification loan documentation. Provides general administrative support for the loan department and works under general supervision of department manager.

Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times within department service standard times.

Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Prepares documentation for commercial real estate loan renewals and modifications.

2. Prepare documentation for Letters of Credit.

3. Prepare documentation for commercial non-real estate documents while maintaining service level standards.

4. Prepare documentation for consumer loans while maintaining service level standards.

5. Prepare New Vendor Forms for new vendors with invoices due on new loans.

6. Receive high level accuracy on job related functions.

Other Job Functions:

1. Clears monthly exceptions as it pertains to loans processed;

2. Provide back up support for other Processes as needed;

3. Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank.

Job Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

1. High School diploma or GED

2. 3-5 years banking experience with 2-3 years training and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within loan operations area or 1-2 years processing experience

3. Must maintain customer confidentiality.

4. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential

5. Advanced computer, calculator and typing skills

6. Knowledge of regulatory, legal, and bank regulation

7. Good oral and written communication skills

8. Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

9. Must comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity.

10. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.

General Physical Demands and Workplace Conditions:

1. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push or pull or otherwise move objects within the immediate work station.

2. Must be able to walk, sit or stand frequently, up to 50% of the time.

3. Must be able to tolerate encounters with coworkers and customers under the following conditions: atmospheric pollutants or allergens, including but not limited to fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation; changes in indoor/outdoor temperatures encountered in travel between buildings and branches.

Other physical attributes required to successfully perform the essential functions above include finger agility, talking, and listening.
