Job description

Overview
The Commercial LOA will play a critical role in the commercial lending process by collaborating with Commercial Relationship Managers (CRM) to support new and existing customers. The Commercial LOA will also collaborate with Commercial Loan Closers in facilitating a credit through the commercial process.
What You'll Do
  • Provide sales and administrative assistance to Commercial Relationship Managers (CRM) and other partners
  • Support new and renewed loan production by collecting, ordering, and tracking information required for accurate risk assessment and underwriting:
    • UCC searches
    • Appraisals
    • Environmental assessments
    • Know Your Customer
    • Survey
    • Leases
    • Organizational Documents
    • Applicable insurance; hazard, flood, builder's risk
    • Beneficial Ownership
    • OFAC
  • Assist with preparation of written communication on behalf of the CRM to include commitment letters, term sheets, thank you notes, etc.
  • Complete the Credit Lens Loan Worksheet, confirming agreement with final approval documents, to engage the Commercial Loan Closer
  • Assist CRM by monitoring reporting and identifying where action needs to be taken, including but not limited to:
    • Maturities
    • Auto-Renew Letter of Credit
    • Insurance
    • Real Estate taxes
  • Provide outstanding service and respond to requests from internal and external customers
  • Collect customer financial statements, as required by the loan agreement, in a timely manner and load to Credit Lens
  • Collaborate with CRM, Commercial Loan Closer, Underwriter, Doc Prep and/or outside counsel on loan closings; collect executed documents from CRM and submit
  • Submit customer maintenance requests to Loan Operations for completion
  • Transfer and assign notes
  • Facilitate ongoing disbursement requests including coordination with Construction Administration
  • Complete assigned Post-Close tasks in Credit Lens
  • Manage WIP files
  • Resolve critical and material exceptions as assigned
  • Participate in all required compliance training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, or other education events as assigned by Loan Ops and Bank leadership.
  • Adhere to Corporate policies and procedures as prescribed.
  • Exemplify behaviors in alignment with the bank's vision, mission, and culture; exhibit professionalism at all times.
  • Provide world-class service to internal and external customers with a sense of urgency and positive attitude.
  • Take ownership of other duties as assigned.

Requirements For Success
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of credit or customer service experience in the financial services industry
  • Commercial loan experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of federal and state banking regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills without direct guidance
  • Demonstrate strong organization and time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
