Job Description
We are seeking an intern to join our Treasury team this summer! Apply today to gain hands-on experience in banking operations! The Treasury Inten will assist with development of automated reports in Syntellis Axiom, including but not limited to behavioral analysis of loans and deposits over time including correlation to market interest rates. Additionally, the Treasury Intern will support the Senior Treasury Analyst gaining exposure to some regulatory reporting such as the FR2900.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Use S&P Capital IQ or other market data source to systematically bring in historical market rates to various systems.
  • Assist with creation of Beta/Decay in Axiom leading to running/automated reporting.
  • Assist with leveraging market interest rates by incorporating into loan prepayment study.
  • Assist with creation of Bloomberg Templates for prepurchase analysis of bonds.
  • Assist with creating near real time liquidity reporting.

Experience and Skills
Required Experience:
Must be an active college student in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Possess strong written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational/time management skills.
  • Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation.
  • Project a businesslike professionalism to the client in both appearance and manner.
