Job description

At Intermix Beverage, we distribute a variety of specialized products to match the needs, budget, and business goals of our customers, and we're passionate about helping them succeed in the specialty coffee industry. We have spent the last 30 years supporting customers of all types and sizes, from coffee shops and restaurants to national chains. With an emphasis on quality, reliability, and customer service, we aim to elevate their beverage programs to the next level. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing and shipping product orders as well as maintaining an organized, clean and efficient warehouse.
Position Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for physical handling of all inventory in the product department, including receiving items, accurately picking, fulfilling, and shipping items to customers, restocking and rotating product, assisting in cycle counts, notifying operations manager of low stock items, and ensuring products' expiration is in accordance with company policy
  • Ensures that all returns follow the written return policy and is accompanied by a return material authorization form and notes inventory items that are damaged or expired
  • Ensures high daily productivity and accuracy by following all written company procedures
  • Uses and has knowledge of warehouse equipment and ensures a culture of safety in the workplace
  • Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse and building grounds
  • Removes snow from the dock area, customer loading area, sidewalk, and front entrance of the building
  • Assists other departments as needed
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
