Youโ€™ll work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a variety of temperatures, and youโ€™ll love the energy that comes with it.You will be responsible for safely and accurately picking floral orders using pick tickets or scanners, packing and boxing products for shipment, loading them onto company trucks, meeting daily productivity and accuracy goals, and working efficiently to meet tight loading deadlines. Safely and accurately picking floral orders using pick tickets and/or scannersMust be comfortable working in various temperature zones, including 45ยฐF for unloading, scanning, and sorting inbound product; 50ยฐF for packing and loading trucks; 85ยฐF in the greenhouse while handling inbound foliage; and a seasonal loading dock with year-round temperature changes.Responsibilities also include:
  • Follow all company written procedures (standard work) to ensure high daily productivity and accuracy.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborating with your team to keep operations flowing smoothly
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders with the correct number and quality of units
  • Sort and place materials on racks according to organizational standards
  • Audit and inspect products to ensure they meet order and quality specifications
  • Execute downgrade processes for expired or sub-spec inventory
  • Consolidate product carts and racks, managing by expiration dates

  • This role involves constant heavy lifting and variable temperatures performing the the following:
    45 degrees unloading/scanning /sorting inbound product
    50 degrees Packing /loading product into trucks to ship
    85- degrees(summer) in the greenhouse unloading/scanning /sorting inbound foliage plants
  • Learn other departments in our organization through cross-training and labor sharing

When you'll work: Please note: There is no fixed end time โ€” your day ends once all tasks are completed, including end-of-day duties.

Schedule Options:

Option 1

  • Sunday: 6:00 AM โ€“ 4:30 PM
  • Monday: 9:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM

Option 2

  • Sundayโ€“Wednesday 2:00 PM โ€“ 12:00 AM

Holidays & Overtime: Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs. Please be aware that during peak times, particularly around holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mother's Day, you may be required to work overtime and on days that are typically your time off. These busy periods may demand flexibility in your schedule.

Pay Range: $17.50-$19.50/hr.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform various repetitive physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and ability to work in a cool warehouse, work is done in a 50-degree room.
