Job description

Compensation: $29.00 to $20.00/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily loading dock activities, including incoming and outgoing deliveries, shipments, and courier services
  • Receive, inspect, document, and route packages, equipment, furniture, supplies, and other materials
  • Maintain receiving records and appropriate chain-of-custody documentation
  • Coordinate the movement of large equipment and materials throughout the facility; Maintain an organized, safe, and operational loading dock and receiving area
  • Record newly received client assets within designated asset and property management systems
  • Assign or verify asset identification numbers, property tags, serial numbers, locations, departments, and responsible parties
  • Perform periodic physical inventories and reconcile physical assets against system records
  • Research and resolve discrepancies involving missing, incorrectly assigned, or improperly documented assets
  • Assist with reconciling asset purchases and received property against client accounts receivable and applicable financial records

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in receiving, logistics, facilities operations, inventory control, asset management, property management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with computerized asset, inventory, property, or financial management systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, receiving documentation, and basic financial reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records across multiple systems
  • Ability to investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory, receiving documentation, and electronic records
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments and client stakeholders
  • Ability to routinely work within loading dock, receiving, storage, and office environments
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move packages, equipment, and materials consistent with established workplace safety requirements
  • Ability to use carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds
