Job description

Part Time Hours: 8a-5p on Saturdays. 10a-3p on Sundays.

This Part-time Yard Associate Backup Driver position will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving of products, loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.


Duties:

  • Stocking, receiving, pulling, and staging all yard/warehouse products.
  • Loading, unloading, and securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, and inbound trucks.
  • Keeping yard area neat and organized.
  • Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments.
  • Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
  • Cover back-up driver responsibilities in a non-regulated truck.
  • Other related duties as assigned such as receiving etc.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
  • Forklift experience helpful, not required
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test/background screening
  • Able to work Part Time Hours: 8a-5p on Saturdays. 10a-3p on Sundays.
