Job description

This position is responsible for:
  • Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
  • Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
  • Receiving all incoming dry goods and materials and verifying product accuracy, quantities, codes, condition, and documentation.
  • Inspecting inbound loads for damages, shortages, overages, and reporting discrepancies immediately.
  • Properly rotating inventory and storing product in designated dry and cold box warehouse locations following FIFO and inventory control procedures
  • Maintaining accurate inventory transactions and completing all receiving documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating with warehouse, production, and inventory teams to ensure timely product flow.
  • Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently to unload, stage, move, and organize materials
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dry warehouse and receiving areas.
  • Assisting with load recovery, trailer shortages, and product movement to support operational needs.
  • Following all company safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards.
  • Supporting cycle counts, audits, and inventory verification activities as assigned
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety standards. Promote and maintain company goodwill. Report any hazards to your supervisor immediately.

Position Requirements:
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely (sit down forklift, hi-Reach forklift, electric pallet jack)
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to work around moving equipment and dock traffic
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift
  • Ability to lift and move products within established weight guidelines
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver palletized loads using manual and powered equipment
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, hand pallet jack)
  • Ability to work in warehouse and dock environments with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements including grasping, reaching, bending, and scanning
  • Ability to visually inspect product condition, labels, quantities, and inventory information
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse and receiving experience preferred
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to operate RF scanner and warehouse systems
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jack and forklift
  • Basic math and inventory counting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
Hourly Wage: $24.40-$26.00
Shift: 2pm-10:30pm Days off Tuesday and Wednesday
