Job description

Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is seeking a Part-Time Assistant/Associate Professor of Family Medicine to join our faculty in Knoxville, Tennessee.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about medical education and interested in contributing to the development of future physicians while maintaining flexibility for clinical practice or other professional commitments.

The successful candidate will participate in teaching the LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and may contribute to clinical duties, scholarly activity, and other academic responsibilities that support the mission of the University, the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the Department of Clinical Medicine.

Required Qualifications:
* D.O. or M.D. degree
* Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, or Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM)
* Ability to obtain Tennessee medical licensure within the first year of employment

Preferred Qualifications:
* D.O. degree
* Five or more years of experience in clinical and/or academic medicine, teaching, or leadership

Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's training and experience.
