This position operates in a flexible remote setup, allowing you to maintain a conducive work-life balance while still connecting meaningfully with clients through virtual counseling sessions. Employees will engage with peers and participate in team meetings from the comfort of their own homes. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms to facilitate appropriate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with the client’s unique preferences, goals, and therapeutic needs, ensuring optimal engagement and progress.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address varying client concerns effectively.
• Educate clients and families on mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and best practices for self-care, enhancing their ability to navigate challenges.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on documented outcomes and client feedback.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of client well-being.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to continually improve treatment efficacy.
• Maintain meticulous client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to continuously enhance your clinical skills.
• Advocate for clients’ needs while promoting greater awareness and reduction of mental health stigma within the community.

The primary focus of this role will be clients dealing with relationship issues, divorce transitions, and related family dynamics. You will work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges. The holistic approach taken in treatment focuses on enhancing communication, fostering conflict resolution, and improving emotional well-being.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A relevant Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is essential to practice effectively.
• Proficiency in managing therapeutic relationships, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong foundation of empathy, non-judgmental attitude, and understanding of clients' varied experiences and struggles.
• Robust organizational and time-management skills to handle effective case management and administrative tasks.

• Experience with specialized modalities such as structural family therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, and communications therapy is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in addiction counseling is a plus, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of interpersonal relationships and psychological health.
