Job description

Job Title: Bilingual Family Medicine Physician

Position Overview:
Living Water Clinic is seeking an attentive, conscientious MD, and or DO candidates with training in diverse medical areas to join our team as Family Doctors. The ideal candidate will treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with patients, produced individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice. As a Provider, you will have the unique oppportunity to serve an underserved poplulation, making a tangible difference in their lives while enjoying a high-income potential. We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of comprehensive healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
As a Family Doctor at Living Water Clinic, you will also undertake the following responsibilities:
  • Provide medical leadership and collaborate with other disciplines towards integrative approaches to patient care.
  • Offer direct patient care to individuals experiencing difficulties both at the clinic site and through outreach locations in the Tulare County service area.
  • Provide clinical supervision to physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • Serve as a cross-department clinical resource for Living Water Clinic staff.
  • Collaborate with other staff in treatment planning and conduct in-service trainings.
  • Coordinate continuity of care for Living Water Clinic patients hospitalized and through medical respite upon release.
  • Assist in the development of electronic health record templates and patient portal and assist in training of the EHR in the medical program.
  • Represent Living Water Clinic and its mission, priorities, and objectives in public presentations.
  • Participate in management team, manager/coordinator meetings regularly, and Rural Health Clinic Compliance meetings periodically.
  • Ensure quality improvement/quality assurance and compliance of medical practice; serve as a member of the Performance Improvement meetings.
  • Develop and implement Living Water Clinic's medical/clinical policies and procedures, including integration with other programs.
  • Ensure that all required trainings is completed within the first 30 days of start date.
  • Must comply with all Living Water Clinic policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Licensure: Must possess a valid license issued by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California.
  • Valid DEA and Furnishing License.
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification..
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and empathy.
  • Dedication to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
