Job description

FloSports is the leading digital platform for underserved sports, combining live and onโ€‘demand streaming, original programming, data, and technology to help sports grow their audiences and build sustainable businesses, from youth to professional levels. By bringing thousands of events and communities onto one platform, Flo creates scale where none previously existed, connecting passionate fans with the sports they love while giving athletes, organizers, and rights holders the tools to reach and engage a global audience.

Flo streams more than 50,000 live events annually across sports, including motorsports, wrestling, hockey, track & field, cheer, jiuโ€‘jitsu, NCAA Divisionโ€ฏII and III athletics, and more. Weโ€™re looking for people who are passionate about sports, embody accountability, collaboration, curiosity, positivity, grit, and excellence, and are motivated to help grow and elevate the communities we serve.

THE ROLE:

FloSports, a leader and innovator in digital sports media, is currently seeking a Programming Coordinator to join our Operations team. The primary responsibilities include maintaining our calendar of live events and eventโ€‘critical details across various internal and external systems for all of our rights partnerships. This person will work crossโ€‘departmentally to gather necessary information of our live broadcasts and will continually seek out ways to provide a seamless flow of data from prospective event to live stream. This position is based in Austin, TX and reports to the Sr. Manager of Programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate with partners and work crossโ€‘departmentally to ensure every event and the critical details (dates, production specifications, etc.) of all potential and signed streaming agreements are entered and maintained across the FloSports platform.
  • Advocate for and oversee process improvements around live broadcast scheduling workflows.
  • Assist in strategic planning and scheduling of all sports broadcasts.
  • Perform data cleansing, data uploads, and data exports within SalesForce.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Set and ensure the highest levels of professionalism in all aspects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficient in Excel and strong data manipulation skillsโ€”must be comfortable working with large amounts of data.
  • Ability to prioritize, get things done accurately, and manage multiple projects with ease.
  • Basic knowledge of the sports media industry.
  • Techโ€‘savvy and able to thrive in a fastโ€‘paced, team environment.
  • Bonus points for experience with SalesForce and/or familiarity with reading and comprehending legal contracts.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY:

FloSports exists to elevate the communities, athletes, and sports that have too often been overlooked. That mission starts with our own team. We believe that a diverse, inclusive workplaceโ€”one where different perspectives are sought out, heard, and valuedโ€”is essential to building a company that can truly serve the full spectrum of sports fans.

We are committed to creating a fair and equitable environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive. To help mitigate bias and expand opportunity, FloSports uses a blind recruiting process that supports more objective, inclusive hiring decisions. Weโ€™re intentional in our practices because we believe the best ideas and innovations come from teams that reflect the diversity of the world around us.
