What does a live content metadata analyst do?

A Live Content Metadata Analyst is responsible for ensuring that live media content—such as sports events, news broadcasts, or entertainment streams—is accurately tagged and described with relevant metadata in real time. This includes identifying key moments, updating event details, and making sure information is consistent across platforms. Their work helps improve searchability, recommendations, and user experiences on streaming and broadcast platforms. They may collaborate with production teams, utilize specialized software, and analyze data to maintain high metadata quality. Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly are essential skills for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a live content metadata analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Live Content Metadata Analyst, you need a strong understanding of metadata standards, content management systems, and attention to detail, often supported by a degree in information science or a related field. Familiarity with tools like content management platforms, data tagging systems, and spreadsheet software is typically required. Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills help you interpret data accurately and collaborate with cross-functional teams. These skills are essential for ensuring high-quality metadata, which enhances content discoverability and user experience across digital platforms.

Expect to participate in cross-functional meetings, provide quick data corrections, and communicate updates to stakeholders, especially when unexpected changes occur during live broadcasts.

Job description

Content Strategist/Operator

Marketing Department  |  Mid-Level  |  Full-Time  |  Abilene, TX

The Opportunity

Tigé Boats has been engineering premium wake surf and wakeboarding boats for over 35 years. We’re doubling down on content. We need someone who doesn’t just write content, but gets it built, published, and working hard across every platform. You’re the engine that keeps the content pipeline moving.

This isn’t a role for someone who waits for direction. It’s for a builder who sees a gap, fills it, and makes sure the world can find us on Google, on YouTube, and everywhere AI is pointing people when they ask “what’s the best wake surf boat?”

What You’ll Own

1. Turn Ideas Into Live Content

You are responsible for execution — fast, structured, and thorough:

  • Build and publish website pages from concept to launch
  • Create comparison pages that win in search and AI
  • Develop FAQ and answer-based content designed to be found by AI platforms and search engines
  • Upload and optimize YouTube videos — titles, descriptions, chapters, and metadata
  • Ensure every piece of content is structured to be discovered and recommended
  • Monitor social listening across all platforms — including Reddit, forums, and community spaces — to surface real customer questions and conversations that fuel content

2. Execute Insights from Data & Intelligence Tools

You will work directly with our AI/SEO intelligence platforms to:

  • Identify where Tigé is winning — and losing — in search and AI visibility
  • Translate insights into content updates and new page builds
  • Implement recommendations quickly, without bottlenecks

3. Structure Content for Discovery (AEO + SEO)

You will ensure all content:

  • Answers the real questions customers are actually asking
  • Is formatted to perform on AI platforms and traditional search engines
  • Competes directly in comparison and “best of” queries
  • Is clear and compelling — zero marketing fluff

4. Distribute What We Create

Content doesn’t matter if no one sees it. You will:

  • Coordinate with marketing leadership on content needs and timelines
  • Push content across the website, YouTube, and key digital platforms
  • Partner with the Growth/CRM role to leverage content in campaigns

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in content operations, digital marketing, or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience building and publishing web pages (CMS platforms like WordPress, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals — structure, metadata, internal linking, and page optimization
  • Familiarity with AI search behavior and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) concepts is a major plus
  • Experience with YouTube content management — uploads, optimization, and channel strategy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously
  • A bias for action — you don’t sit on things
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for basic content creation and asset needs
  • Passion for the water, wake sports, or outdoor lifestyle is a bonus — but curiosity and drive are non-negotiable

Why Tigé Boats

  • You'll create content for a brand people are genuinely passionate about. Tigé customers don't just own their boats, they build their lives around them.
  • This isn't a "run this one ad account" role. You'll have real creative ownership and responsibility from the start.
  • You'll be part of a small, tight-knit marketing team that moves fast and tries new things
  • We offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package including health and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, and year-round employment.

If you meet the requirements and want to be part of an extraordinary company, please apply now!
