This role exists to elevate visual output beyond standard coverage by applying strong composition, camera movement, and storytelling fundamentals in fast-paced environments.
This is a hands-on execution role. You are operating cameras, anticipating moments, and delivering footage that is immediately usable in post-production. You are not leading creative direction, but you are expected to contribute to shot execution with precision and awareness.
You work under the Lead Cinematographer and alongside the production team to ensure consistent visual output across all shoots. You also own the integrity of your footage through proper ingestion, organization, and adherence to media workflows.

  • Operate cameras during multi-camera shoots, balancing creative angles with required coverage
  • Anticipate and capture key live moments in unscripted environments without constant direction
  • Execute camera builds and prepare equipment including gimbals, sliders, and support systems based on production needs
  • Own post-shoot media ingestion including offloading, file organization, naming conventions, and metadata tagging
  • Maintain equipment readiness and support studio operations including setup, breakdown, and gear management
Requirements
  • 3 to 5+ years of professional video production experience with a strong focus on camera operation
  • Demonstrated reel showing cinematic composition, camera movement, and storytelling ability
  • Proficiency operating handheld, tripod, and stabilized camera systems including gimbals and sliders
  • Experience filming live events and working in fast-paced, unscripted environments
  • Strong understanding of media workflows including file management, ingestion, and asset organization
  • Clear communication and ability to execute reliably within structured production systems
Results
  • Footage consistently meets quality standards for composition, exposure, and usability in post-production
  • All assigned shoots are completed without preventable technical errors or missed coverage
  • Footage is ingested, organized, and delivered within 24 hours of shoot completion
  • Zero data loss due to mishandling or failure to follow media protocols
  • Equipment remains organized, functional, and ready for production use at all times
  • Camera execution does not cause delays or disruptions to production timelines
Schedule
  • Full-time role aligned to production schedules
  • Must be available for event-based work, including extended shoot days as needed
  • Travel required based on event and production calendar
  • Work is primarily on-site during shoots, with preparation and ingestion work surrounding production windows
Location:
  • Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)
  • Support for relocation to Las Vegas can be provided
  • Some light travel may be required
Compensation:
  • $70,000 - 80,000 base salary
