About The Role
We are seeking a Creative Producer, Live Sports Sponsorships with extensive experience and knowledge in live sports, integrated marketing, and sponsorships. We are looking for someone who can manage an integrated advertising campaign within a live sporting event broadcast - from the early stages of campaign & sponsorship planning all the way through to day-of physical production.
This candidate should have experience managing and executing upon advertiser/sponsorship commitments within live sports broadcast environments, with the ability to adapt to a variety of different kinds of Live formats. To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about the sports industry, possess a deep understanding of the live events sponsorship ecosystem, and thrive in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Integrated Production & Planning
  • Partner with Brand Partnerships, Title Management & Development, and creative teams to develop compelling sponsorship concepts and check for feasibility with production partners, ensuring that ideas can be executed on time, on-budget, and in line with legal/BA/player/talent parameters.
  • Partner closely with Netflix cross-functional teams, such as Content, Ad Sales, Title Marketing, and Publicity, to develop and plan sponsorship opportunities and ensure they are in line with the overall vision for the live Netflix production.
  • Spearhead conversations with a diverse range of external stakeholders, encompassing third-party production teams, sports leagues, and brand partners.
  • Develop a project plan that drives timeline, budget and key cross-functional stakeholder milestones.

Campaign Production / Implementation
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams and production companies to flawlessly execute all sponsorship commitments, including everything from on-the-ground filming to remote shoots, and agency management.
  • Create and manage all sponsorship obligation documents that tracks advertiser package elements
  • Ensure all necessary assets are reviewed, approved and delivered on-time to all necessary cross-functional partners (internal and external).
  • Own and manage budgets, including reviewing and negotiating production/talent estimates/bids.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and propose solutions in advance - making key decisions so we can continue to deliver without compromising overall creative vision or sponsorship goals.
  • Access to a deep network of contractors and agencies with expertise in this space so we can scale up and down depending on volume of events.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in the live events/broadcast, integrated marketing, and sponsorships space. Preferably with deep experience in live sports content.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and efficiently communicate across multiple cross-functional partners - internal, external and production partners.
  • Operational management within a live / sports broadcast environment, inclusive of on-the-ground activations (on-site & on-broadcast), is a must.
  • Prior ad sales/client relationship management experience is a must.
  • Possess a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the 'live' space.
  • Works effectively and enjoys the interplay across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Thrives in the high-stakes environment of a live production.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature.
  • Understand, advocate, and embody the company's values and team goals.
  • Ability to originate a new role and workstream within an existing team, and help shape the future function of this role.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $220,000.00 - $352,000.00.
