Job description

Indiana University Health Medical Group East Region and Community Medicine Specialty Care Neurology are recruiting a patient focused General Adult Neurologist to join our excellent, multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid, inpatient/outpatient role at Fishers Hospital in Fishers and Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Both hospitals are certified as Primary Stroke Centers from the Joint Commission and the American Health Association's Gold Plus Get With The Guidelines - Stroke quality achievement award.
Position Highlights:
  • Practice in large academic affiliated hospitals alongside well-established teams
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Night/weekend will be limited with a reduced schedule
  • Clinically focused with IUSM resident and medical student teaching
  • Treat patient with a variety of diagnosis eg. migraines, seizures, stroke, Parkinsons, MS, Alzheimers, Dementia, Myasthenia Gravis, tremors and neuropathy
  • Procedures performed include; EMG, EEG and LP
Qualifications:
  • Adjunct Faculty appointment with Indiana University School of Medicine
  • American Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
  • Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

IU Health Fishers Hospital is a 44-bed hospital located in the town of Fishers, Indiana, a beautiful northwestern suburb of Indianapolis. IU Health Fishers Hospital delivers a primary focus on surgical services for cardiovascular and orthopaedics, and provides area residents with the latest advancements in medical care and treatment. The hospital offers the only 24/7 coverage for urgent heart care in the city of Fishers, and is home to the IU Health Hip and Knee Center (where more hip and knee replacements are performed than any other IU Health facility in the state).
IU Health Fishers Hospital is proud to be an integral part of the Fishers community.
