Massachusetts Referral Hospital-Radiologist
Location: Woburn, MA
Job Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Radiologist to join our well-established diagnostic imaging team on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in evaluating and interpreting and providing expert imaging assessments to support patient care. You will engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with specialists to facilitate patient diagnosis and treatment within the hospital setting. Mass Vet also maintains a successful residency program, with all radiologists engaged in providing mentorship and guidance to ensure resident success.
A successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a team player mentality, an interest in teaching, and possess strong time management skills to efficiently work through a high caseload.
Work Schedule - Open to 3 or 4 days per week with a one-day weekend rotation
The Hospital: Our 36,000-square foot hospital, located 11 miles north of Boston, is home to one of the premier level 1 emergency and specialty centers in New England. We offer specialty care in Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Anesthesia and Critical Care, as well as a busy 24-hour emergency service. We recently completed a state-of-the-art renovation, expanding our hospital to better serve our patients, clients, and team. Our upgraded facility now includes:
• A new, expanded ICU for enhanced critical care including a new isolation area to ensure top-tier infection control as well as a dedicated Dialysis suite
Imaging modalities include:
o 2024 installed fluoroscopy unit: GE OE Elite CFD C-arm
o 2024 installed internal MRI: Siemens Sempra
o 2025 installed CT upgrade: Canon Prime Aquilion
o 2025 installed a GE Mini C-arm
o 2 ultrasound suites with Canon Aplio i700 ultrasound machines
o 2 digital radiology suites
