We are looking for a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Carson City, NV

As a DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and maintain a high quality of life.

Direct Support Professional position overview and responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living - mobility, transfers, hygiene, dressing and related areas.
  • Provide functional skills training - assistance / instruction in cooking, shopping, cleaning
  • Offer cognitive skills training - memory training, reinforcing speech and language
  • Monitor client activities at the site
  • Maintain accurate charting/documentation

Direct Support Professional Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, and a minimum age of 18 (as required by the State of Nevada).
  • Read, write, hear, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals
  • Must be able to pass a background check as required by the state of Nevada
  • Previous health care experience a plus but not required
  • A valid Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance a plus.
