Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Medical Pulmonary Stepdown unit requiring an IN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of stepdown experience.

Details
  • Work in a 44-bed Medical Pulmonary Stepdown unit with a medically complex patient population
  • Progressive Care Unit setting with all patients on bedside cardiac monitors
  • Typical RN to patient ratio of 1:4
  • Manages drips including heparin, insulin, cardizem, nicardipine, and dobutamine
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • 36 hours weekly with every other weekend required
  • One major holiday coverage required per contract
  • 13-week assignment length
Requirements
  • Active IN or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
  • Provide direct patient care to medically complex stepdown patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and titration of critical drips
  • Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
