The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a highly organized and student-focused Front Office Coordinator to support the Center for International Education (CIE) at the Daytona Beach Campus. This position serves as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors while supporting international student services, study abroad initiatives, and international engagement programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary front-line representative for the Center for International Education (CIE), providing professional and student-centered support to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

  • Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and electronically while identifying appropriate referral pathways and university resources.

  • Support international student services, study abroad initiatives, international student engagement, and English language programming operations.

  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and culturally responsive office environment that promotes positive student experiences.

  • Coordinate front office operations, including digital signage, informational displays, office materials, and reception area presentation.

  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and communicate operational or maintenance needs as appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate records of office traffic, student inquiries, and service trends to support departmental assessment and reporting initiatives.

  • Assist with document routing, imaging, records coordination, and information management procedures.

  • Identify recurring student concerns or operational trends and communicate observations to leadership to support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Provide administrative and operational support for departmental communications, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Center operations and student success initiatives.

Compensation


The hourly range for this role is up to $16.50. The final offer will be based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

  • 1-3 years of related experience in student support, customer service, administrative support, or a similar environment.

  • Experience working in a university, multicultural, or student-facing environment preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information appropriately.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technologies.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and service-related data.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration within a team environment.

  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the unique needs of international students and diverse communities.
