Tennessee Fuel Transport Driver

5pm to 4am

We are currently seeking an experienced Fuel Transport Driver with an excellent driving record. The right candidate will have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and 1 year of tractor/trailer driving experience. Our drivers enjoy generous compensation and the excellent benefits package we offer.

General Description:

  • Operate trailer tanker.
  • Transport cargo to and from specified destinations.
  • Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and safe service.
  • Loads and unloads secure cargo according to federal and state regulations.
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Job Specifications:

A. Knowledge/Education/Experience Required:

  • Must be licensed to operate a tractor-trailer with a class A CDL with HAZMAT/tanker endorsements.
  • Must have a stable work history with the ability to provide valid names, addresses, and phone numbers of previous employers.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Current MVR (less than two weeks old) must include no more than two (2) moving violations within the past three (3) years; no DUI/DWI or reckless driving violations within the past seven (7) years.
  • Must pass a DOT physical and NIDA drug and alcohol screen and meet all other DOT requirements established for drivers.


B. Abilities Required (work characteristics, behaviors, etc.):

  • Must be able to perform all duties required to load and unload products.
  • Must be able to perform pre-trip inspections of equipment.


C. Physical Requirements:

  • Climbing in and out of truck many times during the day to load and unload fuel.
  • Unloading fuel involves physically lifting and handling 3 and 4” hoses, which may weigh up to 40 lbs.
  • Handling activities include excessive pulling, lifting and pushing. Good back, shoulder, and arm movement are required.
