Job description

RV Technician – Entry Level or Experienced

Compensation is determined based on the applicant’s experience within the RV industry.

We are a strong, close-knit company known for getting the job done right the first time. We’re looking for dependable RV Service Technicians—entry level or experienced—who can persevere through stressful situations and deliver quality work. If you’re motivated, hardworking, and want to grow with a reputable team, we want to hear from you!

Join our team as a RV Technician! You’ll diagnose, maintain, and repair RV systems to keep them safe, functional, and comfortable. This is a hands-on role for someone with mechanical, electrical, and appliance repair skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, slide-outs, awnings, leveling systems, and generators.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative service inspections on motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers.
  • Accurately document findings, repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations for future repairs.
  • Take clear before, during, and after photos for service records, warranty claims, and customer communication.
  • Communicate professionally with staff regarding repair needs, estimates, and completed work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including service vehicles and shop areas.
  • Inspect RVs for potential safety concerns and advise customers of recommended repairs.
  • Install and replace RV components such as air conditioners, water heaters, refrigerators, furnaces, vents, fans, awnings, slide systems, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Properly use and maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
  • Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage time effectively to complete work orders.
  • Support fellow technicians and office staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in RV repair, automotive repair, maintenance, construction, or related mechanical work preferred.
  • Willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, or mechanical systems is a plus.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver RV components and equipment as needed.

Preferred Certifications (Not Required):

  • RVTI Certification
  • EPA Certification
  • Generator Certification
  • HVAC/Refrigeration Experience
  • Electrical or Plumbing Experience

Training Available: We are willing to train motivated individuals who possess strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a desire to build a career in the RV service industry.

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay based on experience and certifications.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (possible Saturday rotation).
