Location: Moose Creek RV Resort, West Glacier, MT
Employment Type: Seasonal, Hourly - Part Time_ Non-Exempt
Streamside Parks is focused on acquiring, improving, and operating RV Park Resorts amp; Campgrounds throughout the United States. We are committed to maintaining safe, welcoming, and well-operated parks that provide exceptional experiences for our residents, campers, and guests.
Positions Summary:
Seasonal Park Staff support the day-to-day operations of Moose Creek RV Resort by assisting across multiple functional areas, including housekeeping, front desk/office support, retail gift shop operations, and kitchen back-of-house support.
Team members will be hired into a primary role based on their skills and experience. However, this is a cross-trained position, and all Seasonal Park Staff must be willing and able to assist with additional duties outside their primary role as operational needs require.
Responsibilities may rotate based on daily demands, staffing levels, and peak guest activity to ensure smooth park operations and a positive guest experience.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Housekeeping amp; Facility Support
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, cabins, rental units, offices, and common areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shared spaces such as clubhouses, pavilions, and recreational areas.
  • Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.) as needed.
  • Remove trash and debris from assigned areas.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing and folding linens or towels.
  • Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Ensure facilities remain guest-ready and meet company cleanliness standards.
  • Provide friendly, respectful assistance to guests when approached.

Maintenance Technician
  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance to maintain the safety, appearance, and integrity of the resort.
  • Conduct regular park inspections and complete work orders efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate maintenance issues, progress, and needs clearly and consistently with the Park Manager.
  • Perform general maintenance duties including light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, groundskeeping, and pool/spa upkeep.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and hazard-free common areas, buildings, streets, and workspaces.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests, responding promptly and professionally to requests and concerns.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, follow safety protocols, maintain accurate maintenance records, and demonstrate an “all hands-on-deck” approach.

Front Desk / Office Support:
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs for campers.
  • Answer phones, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest stays, payments, and site assignments.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, supply tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, guest materials, and administrative tools.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure site readiness.
  • Provide park information, maps, and local recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with other front desk or administrative tasks as needed.

Retail Clerk – Gift Shop:
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Stock, organize, and maintain retail merchandise displays.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and merchandising.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gift shop area.
  • Assist guests with product selection and answer questions about merchandise.
  • Support front desk or park operations during peak guest periods as needed.

Cook:
  • Assist with food preparation and simple cooking for campground food service operations.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Support opening and closing kitchen procedures, including cleaning and equipment shutdown.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep area.
  • Assist with basic inventory tracking and food supply organization.
  • Work collaboratively with park staff to support guest service needs during peak hours.

Skills amp; Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, customer service, retail, or food service is a plus.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in high-traffic or fast-paced environments.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • RV park or campground experience is a plus.

Physical amp; Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
