Job description

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our outpatient practice in the vibrant Kempsville area of Norfolk, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognized, physician-led healthcare system with a mission to improve health every day.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time, outpatient-only Rheumatology position

  • Work alongside 4 experienced physicians

  • Established patient base with a waiting list rapid panel build

  • Call 1:5 weeks. Minimal outpatient after- hours call and use of e-Consults for inpatient call.

  • Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance

  • Broad case mix of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. Onsite infusion, ultrasound, Dexascan and Laboratory.

  • Average of 25 patients per day
