Job description

General Cardiology Non-Invasive Opportunity available in coastal Virginia - Hampton Roads/Tidewater

Practice Location:  21st Street, Norfolk/Ghent

Bon Secours Cardiology is adding a fulltime Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our busy team in 2026! Join an established well-respected cardiology team.  Long term physician retired - new cardiologist can expect to ramp up quickly with absorbed panel and new referrals.

Experience:  Prefer 1 to 3 years of experience, exceptional new grads are welcome to apply

Prefer Imaging Fellowship (not required) - Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CTA

Job Details:

  • Cardiologist will see new and established patients Mon - Friday in the office and share weekend and evening call with other cardiology providers.
  • Hours Monday – Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • One weekday night call and one weekend call every 5th week.
  • Night Call is 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend Call is Friday 5:00 PM through Sunday 7:00 AM
  • Average Clinic Patients per day: 25 - all adult/geriatric
  • 2 CMA and 1 LPN provide clinical support
  • EPIC EMR - fully integrated - DAX A/I Ambient Charting available!
  • Virtual Health: MyChart for Telemedicine, E-Visits
  • Equipment Available: Cardiac Testing
  • Teaching Opportunity: Rotating residents and med students
  • Experience required: Echo, Stress and Nuclear testing and reading studies

Requirements: 

  • Must have completed a U.S.-Based Residency Program 
  • Must be Fellowship Trained in Cardiology - Prefer Imaging Fellowship 
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by ABMS/ABIM 
  • Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. 
  • Current unrestricted Virginia license or eligible for Virginia licensure
