Job description

Expression of Interest - 2027 Sports Coach, Readiness Program

Only available to current Year 12 students attending Caulfield Grammar School.

This opportunity is not available to the public.

At Caulfield Grammar School our purpose is to "enable quality learning every day in every experience for every learner, for life" and our Sports program is an integral component to achieving this.

One of the most exciting parts of the CGS Sports Coach Readiness Program is the chance for our Year 12 students to stay connected to the CGS sporting community by becoming Casual Sports Coaches after they graduate.

Expression of Interest

We’re thrilled to invite expressions of interest from current Year 12 students who are passionate about sport and eager to continue making a positive impact as part of our coaching team from 2027. If you’re committed, motivated, and keen to support the development of younger athletes, we’d love to hear from you!

Our training sessions take place on Tuesdays – 10:45am – 3:30pm, Thursdays – 3:30pm - 6pm and Saturdays – competition days. Training sessions and game days may not always take place at the campus, and you will need to be able to travel to various locations.

Note: This is an Expression of Interest. We’ll be in touch as suitable opportunities become available, and we want to assure you that every application received will be thoughtfully considered for your preferred sport.

The Process

Please submit your expression of interest using the link provided and confirm which sports you have a preference for. Feel free to list as many as you like.

The link to submit your expression of interest will be open for the remainder of the year. You can apply at anytime. Please submit your expression of interest using your personal email address in your application and attach your CV (to include your sport related experience or appropriate accreditation).

Interviews will be conducted at various times throughout the year.

There are no deadlines or guarantees to being considered. Once you express your interest, you will stay in our candidate pool. You will only be contacted once there are suitable positions available that match your skillset.

Please submit your interest for the following seasonal sports:

  • Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
  • Have been an active participant in the School’s Sports Program throughout your time at CGS, meeting all compulsory requirements and contributing positively.
  • Be available for work within school terms in 2027 for training and competition, as outlined below.
  • Be prepared to obtain a Victorian Employment Working with Children Check, Level 1 First Aid, Anaphylaxis Certification, and complete the necessary Onboarding and Orientation courses conducted by the School prior to commencement.
Successful applicants will:
