A Live In Rota Nanny is a professional caregiver who works on a rotating schedule, typically alternating with another nanny to provide 24/7 childcare. This schedule could be one or two weeks on, followed by the same time off. The nanny lives with the family during their shift, ensuring consistent care and stability for the children. This role often involves childcare, educational activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping related to the children. It's a great option for families who need continuous childcare with structured time off for the nanny.

What does a typical rota schedule look like for a live in rota nanny, and how does it impact work-life balance?

A typical rota schedule for a Live In Rota Nanny often involves working intense shifts—such as one or two weeks on followed by an equal period off—where you provide round-the-clock care and support to the children. This structure allows for concentrated periods of work followed by extended time off, helping nannies maintain a good work-life balance and recover between shifts. During your working period, you may collaborate closely with other nannies or household staff, ensuring continuous support and coverage. This setup is ideal for those who prefer longer breaks and the opportunity to focus fully on the children during their working weeks.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a live in rota nanny, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Live In Rota Nanny, you need substantial childcare experience, a genuine passion for working with children, and often relevant certifications such as pediatric first aid and DBS/CRB checks. Familiarity with household management systems, communication apps for family coordination, and knowledge of child safety protocols are commonly expected. Outstanding soft skills include adaptability, discretion, excellent communication, and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a team of caregivers. These abilities are crucial for providing consistent, high-quality care within a structured rota schedule while balancing the needs of both children and the household.

Job description

Energy Exploration Technologies, Inc. (EnergyX) has a mission to become a worldwide leader in the global transition to sustainable energy. Founded in 2018, the company is fundamentally changing the way humanity is powering our world and storing clean energy with breakthrough lithium-ion technology and energy storage solutions.

The Role

We are hiring our first dedicated AI Engineer to do the same thing internally: bring our marketing, brand, and investor relations systems in house and run them on AI-native infrastructure we own. This is a build and ship role. We are currently building our new AI-native website and internal tooling in-house, and you will take ownership of that infrastructure: maintaining it, extending it, and building the systems around it that let a small marketing team operate like a large one.You will work directly with the CMO and alongside brand, content, and IR. You will have real ownership and real budget.

Responsibilities

Web infrastructure

Take over our new AI-built website as its permanent owner. Maintain and harden the codebase, ship new pages and campaign landing pages, own performance, SEO fundamentals, analytics instrumentation, uptime, and deploys. Extend the component and page system so marketing can publish on-brand without filing tickets, and keep the AI-assisted build workflow that produced the site running as our standard way of shipping.

Internal AI tooling

Build and maintain the EnergyX Brand Studio: an internal application that generates on-brand decks, emails, social assets, and collateral against locked brand rules. Expand into IR tooling, research assistants, and internal knowledge search across our documents, media database, and campaign history.

Agentic workflows and automation

Design agents and pipelines that handle real operational load: content repurposing, media monitoring, investor inbox triage, campaign reporting, competitive intelligence. Wire together our CRM, email platform, raise platform, and analytics into systems that run without babysitting.

Data and reporting

Own the pipes and dashboards behind marketing and capital markets reporting. Campaign performance, funnel metrics, cost of capital, attribution. Make the numbers self-serve and trustworthy.

Governance

Set the standards for how AI is used across the company: evaluation, prompt and rule versioning, cost controls, access, and data handling. We operate in a regulated capital raising environment, so accuracy and compliance are core to the work.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years shipping production software, with meaningful recent work using LLMs (agents, RAG, tool use, evals)
  • Strong full stack fundamentals: TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node or Python, modern deploy and CI
  • Comfort with the current model ecosystem (Claude, OpenAI, open weights) and honest judgment about what each is good for
  • Experience integrating third party APIs and building reliable automation across SaaS systems
  • You design for the non-technical operator. Success is a tool the whole team can run on their own.
  • Bias to ship. You get something live this week and improve it in the open.
  • Clear written communication. You can explain tradeoffs to an executive audience in plain language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing, media, or fintech background
  • Experience with regulated financial communications (Reg A, Reg CF, investor relations)
  • Design sensibility, or the ability to take a brand system and honor it in code
  • Headless CMS, edge rendering, and performance optimization at scale
  • Comfortable inheriting an existing codebase and making it yours
  • Built internal tools that other people actually adopted

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay
  • Paid time-off, holidays, and sick time
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Equity Package
  • Medical, dental and vision benefits with employer contribution; voluntary benefits available
  • Company-sponsored events
