Job description

Title: OB-GYN Physician - Northern VA (Arlington)

Location: Arlington, VA (On the campus of Virginia Hospital Center)

Schedule: Full-time; call rotation 1:6; post-call day off!

We are seeking a full-time OB-GYN to join our thriving practice and inherit an established patient panel as a senior partner scales back hours. Located directly on the Virginia Hospital Center campus, our providers enjoy the unique convenience of being "one door away" from Labor & Delivery, ensuring a seamless flow between the office and hospital.

About the Opportunity:

  • Team-Based Practice: Highly supportive and tenured team of providers including 4 board-certified OB-GYNs. We boast a family-oriented environment and serve a multi-generational patient base. Our physicians have a broad range of experience and are happy to provide mentorship and support to early career and/or experienced physicians. Our team of tenured support staff includes MAs, LPNs, administrative assistants, and office managers to ensure a seamless workflow in the office.
  • Patient Population/Demographics: Comprehensive womens health for a diverse blend of ages and a primarily commercial payer mix.
  • Common Pathologies/Conditions: Full scope OB-GYN care including menstrual disorders, prenatal care, menopausal management, and preventative wellness.
  • Procedures: Full scope of in-office procedures and GYN surgeries with weekly blocked OR time; opportunities for advanced laparoscopic procedures and robotics are available, but not required.

About Arlington, VA:

  • Ranked as one of the best places to live in America, Arlington offers a perfect blend of urban energy and suburban charm just across the Potomac from Washington, D.C. Residents enjoy a "15-minute lifestyle" in vibrant neighborhoods like Clarendon and Ballston, where world-class dining, upscale shopping, and top-tier public schools are all within walking distance. With over 150 parks and 50 miles of paved trails, it is an ideal location for those who value an active, outdoor lifestyle alongside a thriving professional career.

Our practice is a proud member of Privia Medical Group, a national physician organization with more than 3,500+ providers in multiple states. Through high-performance physician groups, accountable care organizations, and population health management programs, Privia works in partnership with health plans, health systems and employers to better align reimbursements to quality and outcomes.
