Position Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments

• Work in close coordination with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic imagery
• Effectively operate and uphold the functionality of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Diligently document procedures and uphold accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
